![]() ![]() The VMR modules also have 0 samples of latency, so they can be used while tracking and that is a huge plus for me personally. Slate have great sounding emulations and have most of your staple EQs and compressors (except for the LA2A/3A) and their subscription price is super affordable. The Plugin Alliance subscription has some really great plugins and has some interesting emulations of less common hardware, but just doesn’t have enough of the staple options for me to consider it as an only subscription. UAD have in my opinion the most accurate emulations on the market right now, but their plugins rely on the DSP in their interfaces and both their hardware and plugins are expensive. They do offer a subscription now though and they do have some industry standard plugins outside of their hardware emulations. Waves plugins are mostly pretty old now and in my opinion their emulations do not hold up compared to the others. In my opinion there isn’t another option that offers the same level of value as the Everything Bundle.įrom my experience the main plugin companies that offer those similar type of analog emulation plugins are Waves, Slate, UAD and to a lesser extent Plugin Alliance. I assume you mean the Slate Everything Bundle, as Virtual Mix Rack is just one part of the bundle and technically is just a rack for loading the VMR modules that you own.
